Community Guidelines

FoundersSigma is invite-only and reviewed by hand so it stays a network of real founders. A few ground rules keep it that way.

  1. 1

Be a real founder, building a real thing

Profiles should reflect who you actually are and what you're actually working on. No fake companies, no filler projects just to look busy.

  2. 2

Say what you're actually looking for

Set your status honestly — co-founder, funding, hires, beta users, advisors, or a coffee chat — so the people who reach out are the right ones.

  3. 3

    Reach out with intent

When you contact another founder, be specific about why. A thoughtful note gets a reply; a generic pitch usually doesn't.

  4. 4

    No spam, no recruiting blasts

This isn't a place to mass-message the directory or run outbound campaigns. Treat every conversation like you would at a small in-person meetup.

  5. 5

    Respect confidentiality

Founders often share early, unannounced work. Don't share what someone tells you in confidence without their OK.
